Game Development

My art is my way of expressing my creativity but game development is my true passion. This is where I get to exercise my trained skills and imagination.

VR Games

My passion for VR comes from the never ending possibilities that the technology provides and that it is constantly changing. It is a very challenging medium and I love learning about it.

Environment Design

Creating 3D environments in Unreal Engine and Unity.

2D Games

While 2D games are still widely considered simple in comparison to 3D games, they still hold a special place in my heart.

Art

Wood Burning

I took up wood burning as a medium and made a small business out of it. The Pines is a 10 foot long sign that was commisioned by the owner of a group of cottages. It stands at the entrance to the cul-de-sac with a smaller sign for each of the cottages. Each sign has a title and unique design beside it outlined using wood burning and coloured using resin. Then the sign is treated with a
varnish to protect it from the elements.

Henna (traditional style and my own)

My love of henna stemmed from a habit of doodling in class. I started off copying traditional designs, then later got more creative with it.

Abstracts

These abstract pieces are all made using acrylic paints, with some tissue paper and plaster for added texture.

Fantasy Portrait

I did this portrait of a dungeons and dragons character that I designed. It is done with watercolor paints and outlined with ink.

Self Portrait

This self portrait was made using watercolors.

Lake Louise

This is a watercolor painting of the beautiful Lake Louise outlined with ink. I made use of a negative space technique allowing me to use the white paper underneath as the highlights in the snowy mountains rather than layering white paint on top.

Sketching, Ink and Marker

Galaxy Shades

This piece was inspired by virtual realty, it's an abstract representation of being able to visually show someone an experience that could be considered "out of this world".

Enigma

This is a pointillism piece created by hand and using markers. Each dot was meticulously placed with no two dots touching. It took a total of two weeks to make and is 11 x 14 inches.

Gift Embellishments

These usually involve a central message with a floral border in ink. The background color is mostly watercolors with the more solid colors being touched up with marker.
